Big word in little works

Justice is a big word — made manifest in little works.

When we smile at a waiter, who bears with thankless customers all day —

When we ease the burden of a sales clerk, overworked and underpaid, by returning to their proper places the goods we have decided not to purchase —

When we exchange pleasantries with a gasoline boy, who deals with people who barely open their tinted windows  —

Then we bring to this exiled world the justice of the Lord.
